Printing
There are a few different types of printing you can use, depending on the type of product.
Pad printing/Tampo is one of the most popular methods of printing on products which have restricted printable areas, smaller items such as pens, golf balls, lighters, stress toys, golf tees, key rings etc.
Silkscreen/Screen-printing is used for larger items which require a bigger print such as clothing, bags, towels etc.
Digital Printing/Offset printing is commonly used for full colour printing on mouse mats, coasters, calendars etc.
Decal transfer is another method used for multi coloured images on products which are difficult to screen-print or embroider.
Embroidery
This is the most commonly used method for decorating headwear, apparel and bags.
The cost of embroidery depends on the stitch count and size of your logo. For example a complex block filled logo would require more stitches than a logo with text alone. Unlike screen-printing or pad printing where the cost depends on how many colours are involved.
Foil Printing
This process is used when the desired effect is a shiny metallic finish. Commonly used on products such as compendiums. Foil printing is heated onto a product using a hot stamp with your logo.
Embossing
This is another method of stamping your logo onto products made of leather or vinyl such as compendiums. A hot stamp is used to create an indentation of your logo onto the product.
Engraving
Most metal items such as key rings, metal pens, and stainless steel coffee mugs etc. can be laser engraved. A laser will etch your logo permanently onto the product.
Badging
Your logo is made into a badge made of metal or PVC and is then attached to the product. This method is good to use on caps and bags.
